Hey leaders,

It has been a while since I posted anything, and I thought it might be time for an update.

Because I’m still here!

I have just taken a break from putting content out there as I have been focusing on other areas of my life such, as taking on two subjects to coordinate and lecture (Leadership Principles and Introduction to Management – love it!) at Alphacrucis College, as well as travelling to Germany for my brother’s wedding in August.

The one month in Germany turned into 3 (thanks to Covid19) where I certainly enjoyed spending time with my family and friends over there.

But I’m back in Australia now, currently in hotel quarantine in Adelaide – because it was impossible to get back into Sydney this year!

In terms of leadership, my highlight in Germany was to speak to a bunch of amazing young and emerging leaders. They invited me to their weekly lunch & learn sessions where they interviewed me on all things leadership.

A few of those questions were: What does it take to be a leader? How can you motivate your team to keep doing their jobs? How do I know I’m a leader? How can I develop a high-performing team? How can you motivate yourself? How do you develop emotional intelligence? How do you deal with conflict?

It was great to see that, with my business, I get to help leaders to not only answer exactly those questions but to help them take steps towards achieving their goals and become more effective leaders. Because knowledge alone won’t get you anywhere. You need to apply it.

It has confirmed my passion for leadership and my vision to see organisations thrive because they have invested in their leadership development.
